I AM EXPAT
( 2026)
Featured in IamExpat Switzerland
Every interior designer wants their work to be seen by the right people. Being featured in IamExpat Switzerland is a wonderful opportunity to do exactly that.
For many international homeowners, renovating a property in Switzerland can feel unfamiliar. Different regulations, local suppliers, language barriers and coordinating multiple trades often make the process more complex than expected. This is exactly why I wanted to contribute to the conversation.
In the article, I share practical insights from my experience designing homes in the Swiss Alps and explain why the biggest savings in a renovation rarely come from choosing less expensive materials. Instead, they come from making the right decisions early, planning every detail before construction begins and avoiding changes once work is underway.
I'm grateful to the IamExpat editorial team for the opportunity to share my perspective with their readers and to contribute to a publication that supports Switzerland's international community.
