Hello, I am Irma Balet.

 

Located in the Swiss Alps, my design practice is rooted in functional, timeless and deeply refined interiors, most often expressed through a modern alpine aesthetic.

My appreciation for detail was shaped through my experience as a luxury yacht broker, where craftsmanship and material-driven elegance are integral to everyday life, and was later refined through my studies at the British Academy of Interior Design. Today, I’m drawn to honest textures, layered lighting and the subtle balance that makes a home feel curated at every level.

Thoughtfull design process begins with you: how you live, your day-to-day habits and routines, and the sense of comfort and wellbeing you experience at home. The primary intention is to compose an interior that supports your way of living and makes everyday life feel effortless.

While creativity is at the heart of each project, I intentionally take on a limited number of projects each year. This allows me to remain closely involved at every stage and to offer a highly personalised service, ensuring exceptional quality for every client.

Alongside the creative process, my background in business management and law brings structure and clarity to the design journey. Each project is guided with precision and careful planning, from concept to completion. I work closely with architects, builders, skilled tradespeople and other contractors to ensure that every detail is executed with integrity.

I offer tailored design solutions for clients in Switzerland and internationally, both in person and online, with the mission of creating homes that feel harmonious and deeply considered.
